We are delighted to welcome you to our Christian blog dedicated to the Catholic faith, spirituality and the discovery of divine truth... Our blog is a space of reflection and inspiration for all those seeking to deepen their relationship with God, to explore the teachings of the Catholic Church, and to live their faith authentically and meaningfully with Jesus Christ. ...This blog was created from the deep belief that the Catholic faith is an invaluable source of wisdom, comfort and hope for people of all backgrounds and generations. We believe that faith in Jesus is not simply a series of doctrines, but a true encounter with Him, which can transform our lives and help us find deeper meaning in the world around us.
St Paul, apostle to the nations, is one of the greatest witnesses to Christ. A persecutor of Christians in his youth, he was overwhelmed by his encounter with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus. After becoming an apostle, he travelled the Mediterranean world proclaiming the Gospel with unrivalled zeal. His letters, full of wisdom and love, continue to enlighten and strengthen the Church today. Saint Paul is invoked as a model of conversion, missionary zeal and fidelity to Christ in times of trial.

St Peter, the first of the apostles, was chosen by Jesus to be the rock on which He would build His Church. A fisherman from Galilee, simple and ardent, he experienced human frailties by denying Christ, but he also bore witness to unshakeable courage after the Resurrection, even to the point of giving his life through martyrdom in Rome. Protector of the Church, he is invoked as a guide in faith, a support in times of doubt and a powerful intercessor with God.As we pray to Saint Peter, we turn our gaze to the one whom Jesus chose as the foundation of the Church. His fidelity and courage invite us to remain confident in the Lord's love, even at the heart of our weaknesses.

But it is above all in the New Testament that his role becomes central: he is the angel who announces to Zechariah the birth of John the Baptist and, even more so, the one who brings Mary the news of the Incarnation of the Son of God.
