Our Lady of Deliverance has been invoked for centuries as the one who frees oppressed souls, breaks the chains of evil and protects those who suffer. She acts like an attentive mother, helping in distress, compassionate towards her children trapped by fear, illness, anguish or sin. To pray to her is to ask the Virgin Mary to intervene powerfully in our lives to deliver us from everything that distances us from God.
O most holy Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Deliverance, refuge of tormented souls and help of the afflicted, I come to you with trust and humility. Look at my life, my wounds and my invisible chains. You know my inner struggles, my fears and my weaknesses. You who are the Mother of Mercy, spread your mantle of light over me and deliver me from everything that prevents me from loving and serving your Son.
O most loving Mother, you who trod the serpent of evil under your feet, come and break the bonds that bind me. Deliver me from discouragement, despair, anger and pride. Free my heart from all resentment, heal my ancient wounds, drive away from me the spirit of division, fear and lies.
Our Lady of Deliverance, illumine the darkness of my soul with the light of Christ. May your maternal intercession repel all influence of evil and bring peace, joy and trust back into my life. Obtain for me the strength to forgive, the grace to rise again, and the courage to follow faithfully the way of the Gospel.
O Almighty Virgin, Mother of the Redeemer, protect my home, my family and all those I love. May your presence keep our hearts united in faith and may your blessing ward off the misfortunes and snares of the enemy.
Mary, Our Lady of Deliverance, you who are the liberator of captives and the consolation of oppressed souls, I entrust myself totally to you. Intercede for me with your Son Jesus, that He may grant me complete deliverance from evil and make my life a testimony of peace and love.
O sweet Mother, keep me under your protection and lead me on the path of light. May I one day sing eternally with you the glory of God in the Kingdom of Heaven.
