Lord God Almighty,

You who reign in the heavens and in the hearts of men of good will,

I come to You with humility and trust,

desiring to open my soul to the light of Your invisible Kingdom.

You have sent Your holy Archangels to guide, protect and enlighten men,

and I thank You for this, for their presence is a sign of Your infinite love.

Today, Lord, in the peace of prayer,

I invoke You so that through Your Holy Spirit,

I may meet the Archangel You have chosen to accompany me.

May he manifest himself to me not in the tumult of spectacular signs,

but in the gentleness of my heart, in the clarity of my conscience

and in the light of true faith.

O Holy Archangel whom God has placed on my path,

You who know my life, my struggles and my hopes,

come to meet me.

Apprehend me with kindness,

and make me feel your comforting presence in my days of trial.

Enlighten my thoughts, purify my intentions,

and lead my steps on the path of peace and fidelity to God.

If my soul is troubled, soothe it.

If my mind goes astray, straighten it.

If my heart is hardened, soften it with the light of Heaven.

Let me know your hand that invites me,

your voice that counsels me, and your invisible protection that watches over me.

Saint Michael, Archangel of courage and truth,

if you are the one sent to me,

give me the strength to resist evil,

to fight my fears and to affirm my faith in the light of Christ.

May your triumphant sword separate in me good from evil

and teach me to remain faithful to the word of God.

Saint Gabriel, messenger of the good news,

if it is you whom God has sent me,

open my ears to the voice of the Lord

and my heart to the grace of His will.

May I become, after your example,

an instrument of peace, clarity and gentleness,

able to proclaim the truth by my words and by my life.

Saint Raphael, physician of God,

if you are my guide,

come and heal my inner wounds,

bind up the pains of the past and soothe the fears of the future.

Lead me on the road of discernment and healing,

and make my life a pilgrimage to eternal joy.

O beloved Archangel,

you whom God has entrusted to me as heavenly friend and invisible guardian,

help me to listen for your presence,

to feel your light in my darkness

and to recognise you in the silent inspirations

that direct my soul to the good.

I entrust to you my struggles, my weaknesses and my purest desires.

Help me to see the world with the eyes of Heaven,

to love as God loves,

and to pick myself up every time I fall.

Be my companion on the path of faith,

and teach me to walk humbly in the light of the Lord.

I ask you to teach me inner prayer,

that which is not always said with words,

but with the breath of the heart and the peace of silence.

Stay close to me when doubt overwhelms me,

remind me of Christ's presence in my moments of weakness,

and lift my thoughts to the Father when I lose my way in the world.

Saint Archangel, heavenly friend,

may our meeting be pure, sincere and in accordance with God's will.

Through you, may I discover the greatness of his love,

the beauty of his work,

and the power of his Spirit who works in every creature.

Teach me to fear nothing,

for the Lord is my light and my salvation.

With You, I will walk fearlessly towards the truth,

in the confidence and peace of the Risen Christ.

O God of tenderness and glory,

I offer You my life and my heart.

I also offer You this prayer,

so that through Your infinite goodness,

I may meet the Archangel who watches over me,

and learn, through his presence,

to love You better, to serve You better and to follow You better.
