Most pure Virgin, Mother of Carmel,
you have looked upon your people with tenderness
and have clothed yours with your scapular,
the sign of your love and fidelity.
You who are our Mother and our Queen,
teach us to pray in silence,
to listen to the Word of God,
and to surrender ourselves entirely to his will.
In trials, cover us with your mantle.
In doubts, light our way.
In the night, be our star.
And at the hour of our death,
receive us as your children.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel,
pray for us and lead us to Jesus.
