We are delighted to welcome you to our Christian blog dedicated to the Catholic faith, spirituality and the discovery of divine truth... Our blog is a space of reflection and inspiration for all those seeking to deepen their relationship with God, to explore the teachings of the Catholic Church, and to live their faith authentically and meaningfully with Jesus Christ. ...This blog was created from the deep belief that the Catholic faith is an invaluable source of wisdom, comfort and hope for people of all backgrounds and generations. We believe that faith in Jesus is not simply a series of doctrines, but a true encounter with Him, which can transform our lives and help us find deeper meaning in the world around us.
From the grandeur of Rome to the quest for silenceSaint Arsène was born in Rome around the year 354 into a noble, cultured and Christian family. Gifted with a keen intelligence and a fine mind, he received a thorough education in the liberal arts, languages, philosophy and theology. He was ordained a deacon and soon became a trusted figure in the imperial entourage. Emperor Theodosius chose him as tutor to his two sons, Arcadius and Honorius. Arsène lived for several years in the splendour and refinement of the imperial court of Constantinople. But deep inside him, a worry grew. This luxury, fame and responsibility were not nourishing his soul. He felt a deep call to detach himself from the world and seek God in silence. Around the age of 40, Arsène left everything behind: his imperial office, his riches, his privileges. He left for Egypt, the land of many hermits, to live in the desert and devote himself entirely to God.

A mystery at the heart of the faithAmong all the treasures of the Catholic faith, there is one that passes understanding, and yet is offered to us every day: the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Not a symbol, not a memory, but Jesus Himself, alive and true, present in the consecrated bread. We did not invent this mystery: it is the very words of Christ, on the eve of His Passion, that reveal it to us with shocking clarity: "This is my body... This is my blood.".

A prayer given by Jesus himselfAmong all the Christian prayers, the Our Father is the most universal, the oldest and the most precious. It is not a prayer invented by men: it came directly from the mouth of Christ. When the disciples asked Him: "Lord, teach us to pray", Jesus did not give them a method, but an entire prayer. In just a few lines, He offers them a summary of the Gospel, a pathway to the Father's heart.

A couple united by GodLouis and Zélie Martin are not just the parents of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus. They are saints themselves, canonised together, a striking sign that sanctity can be born in the everyday life of a home. Married in 1858 in Alençon, they chose from the start to live their married life as a path towards God. Their love was deep, tender and demanding. Together, they sought the Lord's will, endured trials, raised their children in the faith, and sowed peace around them.
