Saint Michael the Archangel,
mighty defender and faithful servant of God,
we turn to you today with confidence.
Watch over us, our families,
our children and all those we love.
Surround our homes with your protection
and keep us safe from all harm,
all danger and all ill intent.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
when fear fills our hearts,
give us the courage to move forward.
When doubt weakens us,
help us to keep our trust in God.
When trials become difficult,
support us and remind us
that we are never alone on our journey.
Protect our children when they are far from us.
Watch over their steps, the people they meet and the decisions they make.
Keep away from them bad influences,
hurtful words and paths that might lead them away from what is good.
Grant them the wisdom to choose what is right
and the strength to remain true to their hearts and their faith.
Watch over, too, those who are working,
those who are seeking their way,
those who are facing difficulties
and those who silently bear heavy burdens.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in our visible and invisible struggles.
Keep hatred, jealousy,
anger, discord and evil intentions far from our lives.
May our homes remain places of peace,
love, forgiveness and hope.
In times of anxiety, calm our thoughts.
In times of sadness, lift up our hearts.
In times of weakness, strengthen our faith.
And when we no longer know which path to take,
help us to place our trust in God’s hands.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
walk before us to light our path,
stay close to us as we face trials
and watch over us from behind so that we may move forward without fear.
Today we entrust to you
our families, our plans, our work,
our joys, our worries and our future.
May we, under your protection,
move forward each day
in faith, peace and hope,
with our hearts turned towards Jesus Christ.
