Saint Michael the Archangel,

valiant defender of Heaven, prince of the heavenly militias,

I turn to you with confidence.

You who fought the Ancient Dragon and cast him from the heavens,

come to my aid in the battles of this life.

Protect me from the snares of the devil,

from the darkness that assails my heart,

and from the dangers that threaten my soul and body.

Be my shield against every attack,

my light in the night,

my strength in temptation.

You whom God has appointed guardian of his people,

watch over my home, my family, my plans, and all those I love.

By your angelic power and fidelity to God,

keep all evil from approaching me,

and lead me on the path of truth and peace.

Saint Michael, stretch out your bright sword

between me and those who would harm me.

And in days of trouble, remind me that I am never alone:

Heaven watches, and you fight for those who trust in you.
