Glorious Saint Christopher,

you whose name means "bearer of Christ",

you who had the courage to seek to serve the greatest of masters,

and who found your true mission in carrying the Infant Jesus on your shoulders,

come to our aid and accompany us on the roads of life.

Protector of travellers,

you who have guided so many souls through the dangers of the river,

watch over us as we take to the road,

in our daily travels as well as in our long journeys.

Preserve us from accidents, carelessness and distractions,

remove from us visible and invisible obstacles,

and give us to drive with prudence, vigilance and respect.

Saint Christopher,

patron saint of pilgrims, sailors, aviators and motorists,

we entrust to you our journeys, our families and our friends.

Be our companion on the road and our watchful guardian.

Help us to keep inner peace even in trials,

and never to forget that every road we travel

is a stage in our pilgrimage to God.

You who felt the weight of Christ on your shoulders

and understood that it was the weight of the world,

teach us to carry our daily burdens with faith.

Inspire us with the strength not to give in to discouragement,

but to transform every effort into an act of love.

Saint Christopher, model of service and fidelity,

intercede with the Lord that He may bless us,

protect us and keep us safe.

May none of our steps be lost,

may none of our roads stray from Him,

and may, like you, we always be bearers of Christ

in our words, our deeds and our lives.
