We are delighted to welcome you to our Christian blog dedicated to the Catholic faith, spirituality and the discovery of divine truth... Our blog is a space of reflection and inspiration for all those seeking to deepen their relationship with God, to explore the teachings of the Catholic Church, and to live their faith authentically and meaningfully with Jesus Christ. ...This blog was created from the deep belief that the Catholic faith is an invaluable source of wisdom, comfort and hope for people of all backgrounds and generations. We believe that faith in Jesus is not simply a series of doctrines, but a true encounter with Him, which can transform our lives and help us find deeper meaning in the world around us.
A couple united by GodLouis and Zélie Martin are not just the parents of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus. They are saints themselves, canonised together, a striking sign that sanctity can be born in the everyday life of a home. Married in 1858 in Alençon, they chose from the start to live their married life as a path towards God. Their love was deep, tender and demanding. Together, they sought the Lord's will, endured trials, raised their children in the faith, and sowed peace around them.

A woman marked by mercyAmong the most moving figures of the Gospel, Saint Mary Magdalene occupies a unique place. Long wrongly reduced to an image of a repentant sinner, she is above all a woman transfigured by the love of Christ. Freed from seven demons, she became one of Jesus' most faithful disciples. Her journey tells of the power of divine mercy, capable of lifting up, illuminating, and transforming a wounded life into a shining testimony.

Unchanging foundationsSince the origins of the Gospel, Christian values have shaped the lives of believers and inspired their day-to-day choices. More than just a moral code, they express God's call to live in truth, love and fidelity. These seven essential values are guidelines for building a life that is upright, fruitful and open to others. They are neither fixed nor abstract: they are embodied in our relationships, our decisions, our inner struggles.

The foundation: Saint Peter, the first popeAccording to Catholic tradition, the history of the popes begins with Saint Peter, one of Christ's twelve apostles. Jesus entrusted him with the mission of "feeding his sheep" (John 21:15-17) and declared: "You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church" (Matthew 16:18). Peter thus became the first bishop of Rome and the visible head of the Church. He died a martyr around 64 AD in Rome, crucified upside down on Vatican Hill. His tomb lies beneath St Peter's Basilica.

Saint Pius I was one of the first successors of Saint Peter in the See of Rome. He lived in the 2nd century, at a time when the Church was still in its infancy, without legal recognition, often persecuted, and faced with numerous heresies. According to traditional sources, his pontificate lasted from around 140 to 155, during the reigns of the emperors Antoninus the Pious and perhaps Marcus Aurelius. It was a pivotal period in which Christianity was gradually becoming structured, while at the same time fighting for its survival and identity.
