The Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark and Luke - recount this fundamental theme of Jesus' mission.Early in his public ministry, after his baptism and temptation in the desert, Jesus began to preach in Galilee. According to Mark's Gospel, he proclaimed, "The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Good News" (Mark 1, 15). The Second Luminous Mystery of the Rosary, known as the "Wedding at Cana", is a significant event in the life of Jesus, recounted in the Gospel according to John (2:1-11). This account describes Jesus' first public miracle, revealing his glory and inaugurating his public ministry. The story takes place at a wedding in Cana, a village in Galilee. Mary, the mother of Jesus, is present, and Jesus and his disciples are also invited to the party. While the festivities are in full swing, a major problem arises: the wine runs out. In the Jewish culture of the time, such a shortage would have been seen as a great embarrassment for the bride and groom and their families.
