Our Lady of Lourdes is the face of God's tenderness manifested through the Virgin Mary. Appearing to Saint Bernadette in 1858 in the grotto of Massabielle, she reminded the world of the power of prayer, penance and faith. Since then, Lourdes has become a place of healing, conversion and hope for millions of pilgrims seeking peace of heart.

O most holy Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes, you whom Heaven sent to remind the earth of God's mercy, I come to you with confidence. You gently welcomed the young Bernadette, poor and humble among the humble, and revealed to her the beauty of your maternal love. Look today at your child who approaches you with faith.

O Mary Immaculate, refuge of sinners and consoler of the afflicted, I entrust to you my sorrows, my pains, my wounds and my hopes. You know the trials of my life, the burdens that weigh on my heart and the illnesses of body and soul that trouble me. Through your intercession, obtain for me the strength to accept God's will and the grace of total trust in Him.

Our Lady of Lourdes, source of healing and hope, make the living water of your love flow over me and all those I love. Purify our hearts of all that distances us from the Lord, make us humble and open to His light. May your maternal presence soothe our pain, enlighten our doubts and revive our faith.

O Mary, you who promised graces to those who would come to pray at your blessed grotto, look kindly upon my prayer today. May your smile wipe away my tears, may your gaze envelop me in peace, and may your immaculate heart lead me to Jesus, your beloved Son.

Our Lady of Lourdes, heal the sick, comfort the afflicted, strengthen the weak, and sustain souls in sorrow. Make our lives a song of love and gratitude for the wonders God accomplishes through you.

O sweet Mother, never leave me alone on the path of life. Accompany me every day, until the time comes when I can contemplate with you the eternal light of Heaven.
