O Virgin Mary, most holy Mother,
you who bore in your womb the Saviour of the world
and who never ceased to ponder the wonders of God in your heart,
I come today to pray with you,
with the rosary in my hand and my soul open to the light of Heaven.
I want, through each bead of this rosary,
to offer you my thoughts, my joys, my sorrows and my hopes.
May each Hail Mary be for you a flower of love,
a pearl of gratitude and a surge of the heart towards your beloved Son.
Teach me to pray not out of habit,
but with fervour, trust and simplicity,
like a child speaking to its mother.
O Mary, Mother of the Rosary,
you who unceasingly contemplate the face of your Son,
help me to meditate on the mysteries of his life,
from his birth to his glorious Resurrection.
In the joyful mysteries, make my faith grow;
in the luminous mysteries, enlighten my mind;
in the sorrowful mysteries, strengthen my soul;
and in the glorious mysteries, open my heart to the hope of Heaven.
When my hands remove the beads from this rosary,
may my heart learn to beat to the rhythm of yours.
May my prayers ascend to God like a sweet perfume,
and may my life become a reflection of your humility,
your patience and your motherly tenderness.
I entrust to you, O Mary,
my sorrows, my struggles and my lack of faith.
You who are the Mother of mercy,
intercede for me with your Son Jesus.
Tell Him that I want to love Him more deeply,
follow Him more faithfully,
and be more like Him in my daily actions.
I also entrust to You those I love:
my family, my friends, my brothers and sisters in the faith.
Protect them under your mantle,
watch over the sick, souls in distress and doubting hearts.
May they all discover the peace of your Son and the gentleness of your gaze.
O Mother of Christ,
make my prayer fruitful.
When I pray this rosary,
give me to draw from it peace of heart,
courage in trial,
and the joy of knowing I am loved by God.
Help me to bear the fruits of the Rosary in my life:
patience, purity, mercy and fidelity.
And when my prayer grows dry,
when fatigue or distraction overtakes me,
remember, beloved Mother,
that I simply desire to be near you,
walk with you to Jesus.
May even my silences become prayer,
and may my weaknesses be transformed into trust.
O Queen of the Rosary,
you who promised your help to those who pray to you with love,
make my rosary a bond of union between earth and Heaven.
May it be a weapon against evil,
a light in the night,
and a sign of hope for the world.
Help me to offer my prayers for peace,
for the conversion of hearts,
and for all those who seek God without yet knowing that He loves them.
I offer to you, in reciting this rosary,
all that I am and all that I live.
Receive my joys and my tears, my efforts and my weaknesses.
Transmit them to your Son,
and make my life a living prayer,
united with your love and that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
O Mary, Mother of tenderness,
accompany me each day in the prayer of the Rosary,
until my lips utter my last Hail Mary,
and my soul, borne by your smile,
enters the eternal light of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Amen.
