Saint Charbel: A model of holiness

Born as Youssef Antoun Makhlouf in 1828 in Bqaakafra, a Lebanese village, Saint Charbel came from a modest but deeply religious family. After his death in 1898, his body was found intact and began to exude an oily liquid, a phenomenon that led to numerous miracles, including inexplicable cures.
