O glorious Saint Barbara,

You who dedicated your life to faith in God despite trials and persecutions,

We come before you today, full of trust and humility,

To implore your intercession and help in the dangers that surround us.

Saint Barbara, you who found divine light even in the darkness of your confinement,

Help us to keep faith in times of doubt and despair.

Inspire us with your courage in the face of life's adversities,

And guide us on the path of justice and love.

You, the protector of souls in peril,

Protect us from all dangers, visible and invisible.

Preserve us from accidents, fires and disasters,

And watch especially over those who work in risky professions:

Firemen, miners, artillerymen and all those who face danger daily.

Offer them your protection and strength in their mission.

Saint Barbara, model of patience and faith,

Learn us to forgive those who hurt us,

As you yourself endured injustice with unshakeable faith.

Give us the grace to love our enemies,

And to respond to hatred with love, to violence with peace.

O you, who have been chosen by God as an example of faith,

Intercede for us with the Almighty Lord,

That our prayers may be answered according to his holy will.

Give us the strength to overcome our trials and to grow in faith,

Following your example of humility and faithfulness.

Saint Barbara, you who carried the light of the Trinity in your heart,

Illuminate our lives with the divine presence.

Help us to stand firm in our convictions,

Even in the face of the headwinds and challenges of our times.

We entrust to you our families, friends and loved ones,

May they find in you an attentive and loving protector.

Bring them peace, joy and serenity in their hearts.

Keep them safe under your holy protection.

And finally, Saint Barbara, accompany us on our final journey,

When the time comes for us to leave this world,

Be our guide to the eternal light,

And present us before the throne of God, purified and ready to receive his infinite mercy.

O Saint Barbara, glorious and beloved saint,

We thank you for your love and constant intercession.
