O Blessed Carlo Acutis,
you who lived among us as a simple and joyful adolescent,
you who knew how to find the road to Heaven in the Eucharist,
we come to pray to you with confidence,
that your example may enlighten our faith and warm our hearts.
From your childhood, you recognised Jesus as your most faithful friend,
and you made his presence in the Blessed Sacrament
the centre of your life and your days.
Learn us, like you, to love the Mass,
to experience each communion as an encounter of love,
and to contemplate, in the consecrated bread and wine,
the light of the living God who transforms our lives.
Carlo, you who said, "The Eucharist is my highway to Heaven",
help us to take that same road,
even when life seems burdensome or complicated.
Inspire in our generation the desire for a true faith,
made of fidelity, service and joy.
May our hearts be, like yours, pure, simple and open to grace.
You who knew how to unite modernity and holiness,
you who used computers and the digital
to make Jesus known to the world,
make us capable, following your example,
to be witnesses to the Gospel in our time.
Help us to transform the networks, screens and tools of this world
into instruments of peace, truth and love.
You who used to say, "All are born as originals,
but many die as photocopies",
give us the courage to be ourselves,
to live fearlessly the unique plan that God has for each of us.
May we not seek to imitate the fashions or illusions of the world,
but may we know how to become saints according to our own vocation.
Blessed Carlo, model of young people and lovers of Christ,
we entrust to you our struggles, our doubts and our desires.
Intercede for teenagers, students,
families and all those who feel distant from God.
Show them, through your intercession,
that true joy is born of a heart united to Jesus,
and that holiness is not an unattainable ideal,
but an adventure of love that begins here and now.
Remember those who suffer in body or soul,
those who struggle to believe or hope.
May your prayer lift them up, enlighten them and guide them towards the light of Christ.
Spread over us your tenderness and your smile,
and teach us to live, like you,
in the trust, simplicity and joy of the Gospel.
O Carlo, friend of Jesus and son of Mary,
you who now contemplate the glory of God,
watch over the Church and over all the young people of the world.
Help us to remain faithful to the Lord,
to love without measure and to serve with humility.
May your example impel us to transform every moment
into an offering of love for God and for our brothers.
Blessed Carlo Acutis,
you who already walk in eternal light,
accompany us on our way to Heaven.
And when the hour of the definitive encounter comes for us,
may we, following in your footsteps,
enter into the joy of the Kingdom,
where God will be all in all.
