Saint Dominic, born in Spain in the 12th century, was a man of prayer and compassion, entirely devoted to preaching the Word of God. Driven by a deep love for the Truth, he dedicated his life to bringing souls back to the faith through gentleness, humility and example. 

Founder of the Order of Preachers, he was also the promoter of the Rosary, which he received according to tradition from the hands of the Virgin Mary. His heart burned with the desire to save souls and illuminate minds with the light of Christ.

O glorious Saint Dominic, messenger of Truth and apostle of the Rosary, you who carried the light of faith into the darkness of error, enlighten my heart with your fire of charity. Teach me to love Christ with the same ardour as you, to serve Him unceasingly, and to sow peace and truth around me.

Saint Dominic, you who prayed in tears for the salvation of sinners, look upon my weaknesses and intercede for me. Obtain for me the grace of sincere conversion, purity of heart and the humility of a servant. May my words be guided by wisdom and my actions reflect God's goodness.

You who used to spend nights begging the Lord for lost souls, inspire me with that same zeal for prayer. May I not seek my glory, but Christ's. Teach me to keep the faith in times of trial, to persevere in prayer, and to bear witness to the Gospel with courage and gentleness.

Saint Dominic, friend of angels and beloved son of Mary, help me to discover the power of the Rosary. May each "Hail Mary" be a flame that lights my way and a chain of love that unites me to the Mother of God. Help me to contemplate the mysteries of Christ with the eyes of faith, so that my life may become a reflection of Heaven.

O Saint Dominic, father of preachers and defender of the truth, keep me faithful to the Word of God. May my heart remain ardent in prayer, simple in love, and strong in faith. Intercede for me that I may remain, like you, a witness of light in this shadowy world.
