O Mary, Mother of God and our Mother,
as we prepare to celebrate your Assumption,
turn your tender gaze upon us.
Teach us to accept God’s will
with trust, humility and hope.
Help us to keep our hearts turned towards Heaven
and to follow your Son Jesus faithfully.
Our Lady of the Assumption,
watch over our families, comfort those who suffer
and guide us each day along the path of peace.
