Saint Jude, apostle of Christ and martyr of the faith, is the saint of desperate causes and impossible situations. A faithful servant of the Lord, he intercedes for those who have lost heart and restores hope to those whom life has broken. To pray to him is to place our distress in his hands, and to believe that nothing is impossible for God.

O glorious Saint Jude, faithful apostle of Jesus, you who are honoured as the saint of hopeless causes, I come to you with confidence. Look upon my sorrows, my struggles and my anguish. Intercede for me with the Lord that I may find light in my darkness, courage in my trials and peace in my heart.

Saint Jude, friend of Christ and witness to his love, you who have known persecution and suffering, understand my weaknesses and fears. Come to my aid at times when all seems lost. Through your intercession, may obstacles be turned into paths of hope and may my faith remain firm in the storms of life.

O O faithful apostle, you who preached the Word of God with zeal and charity, obtain for me the grace of total trust in Providence. Teach me to place my life in the Lord's hands and to wait patiently for the help of his love.

Saint Jude, powerful intercessor, I entrust to you this intention which is close to my heart (formulate your intention here). If this is God's will, obtain for me this favour; if not, grant me the strength to accept it with faith and peace.

O saint of the impossible, support of downcast souls, pour upon me the graces I need to continue to believe, love and hope. May your example inspire me to fidelity and perseverance in prayer.

Saint Jude, defender of the hopeless, let the light of the risen Christ shine in my life. May I bear witness to God's power and, in joy as in suffering, may I give Him glory for ever.
