The Merciful Christ is the perfect revelation of God's infinite love for humanity. In his gaze full of tenderness, in his open wounds and in the flood of light that streams from his heart, we discover the source of forgiveness and peace. To turn to Merciful Jesus is to abandon ourselves to His goodness, to entrust to Him our faults, our sorrows and our hopes, and to welcome the grace of His infinite love.
O merciful Jesus, living source of love and hope, I come to You with all that I am: my weaknesses, my wounds, my faults and my purest desires. You know my heart better than I do, and yet You never stop loving me. Look upon me with compassion, wash away my faults, and make the flood of Your mercy flow over my soul.
Lord, You who opened Your Heart on the Cross to shower upon us the rays of forgiveness and grace, I offer You all that I live, all that I carry, all that I fear. Grant me to find in You true peace, the peace that comes not from the world, but from Your Holy Spirit.
Jesus, I trust in You. Even when all seems lost, even when silence tests me, I choose to believe that Your love is stronger than my darkness. Come and heal my inner wounds, reconcile what is broken in me, and transform my pain into an offering of love.
O Heart of Jesus, burning with mercy, draw to Yourself all those who doubt, who suffer, who feel unworthy of love. Let no one be lost from Your tenderness. Make me an instrument of Your peace, a witness to Your forgiveness and kindness towards all.
Lord Jesus, may Your Merciful image be a refuge and a light for me. May the red and pale rays streaming from Your heart envelop me and strengthen me. In my struggles, be my strength; in my doubts, be my truth; in my weaknesses, be my life.
I offer You everything, O Merciful Jesus: my joys, my tears, my struggles and my silences. Pour over me and the whole world the infinite treasures of Your love. May Your Name be glorified forever in the hearts of those You save, and may we all live united in the light of Your divine Heart.
