Saint François de Sales, bishop of Geneva in the 17th century, is one of the Church's greatest spiritual masters. Known for his gentleness, humility and art of persuasion, he devoted his life to bringing souls back to God through patience and charity. 

Author of the Introduction to the Devout Life, he taught that holiness is accessible to all, even in the heart of the world. His heart full of peace and his gaze turned towards Heaven make him a model of quiet love and active faith.

Ô Saint François de Sales, you who knew how to combine firmness and gentleness, enlighten my heart troubled by the storms of the world. Teach me to listen before speaking, to understand before judging, to love before condemning. Inspire me with the deep peace you carried within you, the serenity born of absolute trust in God.

Help me to live each day in charity, even when life hurts or disappoints me. May I find in prayer the strength to love, forgive and begin again, following your example, with gentleness and fidelity. Obtain for me the grace never to let anger or bitterness take root in my soul, but to remain calm, patient and benevolent, even in trials.

Saint Francis de Sales, you who knew that holiness is lived in the simple things, teach me to sanctify everyday life: a kind word, a gesture of kindness, a silence kept out of love. May I be for others a reflection of God's goodness, a witness to His peace in this troubled world.

Guide me in my choices, enlighten my steps, and make the gentleness of Christ grow in me. May my faith not be an idea but a life, a light that illuminates without burning, a flame that warms without consuming. Give me the strength to persevere, even when everything seems difficult, and the wisdom to accept God's will with confidence.

O Saint Francis, you who said that "the measure of love is to love without measure", make my heart a place of infinite love. May I remain united to God in peace, humility and trust, until the day I see him face to face in eternal glory.
